Sweat leaks out from under eyelids,
The heat pours light over melting bodies.
Swelling of the blood beneath my skin,
The tightness of muscles, the bones crumble.
Drenched in the water purged from a struggle,
An effort, a pointless game.
Like her empty threats and spineless words -
The demands fall down like pleas.
Unable to resist but still her demeanour restricts;
The endless desire, the fuel for union.
The pain and frustration bubble over -
All ends in silence and quiet reflection.
