Untitled (Passion)

Bodies quiver when the ice touches the flesh –

The shocking contact that freezes the skin,

Puckers the silken casing, tightens the threads of muscle.

Feeling the waves stream through reaching fingers,

Icy waters cascade over palms, coating every inch.

 The wintry beauty capturing all the imagination

And fuelling overwhelming warmth deep within.

Eyes simmer like candle light heating shadows,

Forms tauten like boiling wire, entwined and fiercely contained.

Light caresses, soft as feather-like strokes across the surface.

The tension building, the fiery drive within claims all resilience;

Intense powers can condemn and make beasts bay for blood.
