Solid Rock ( Stone Goddess series)
Before too long I'll be a shard of slate.
A concrete statue I am forced to create.
The burning coal within me will blackened my insides;
The stone goddess spirit no longer runs and hides.
The solid rock of my inner core will calcify my bones,
And the metal skeleton structure will cease to corrode.
The lies will finally crumble, the truth at last cemented.
It forms a wall around me, never to be penetrated
